Future Monument for Chinatown will be shown at iDMAA (International Digial Media Art Assocation) exhibtion IDEAS 16.

iDEAS 16 is an international exhibition which explores current ideas and processes in hybrid form, digital art, design, and new media. The iDEAS exhibition coincides with the fourteenth annual International Digital Media and Arts Association (iDMAa) conference, to be held on the campus of Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota, from October 5th – Oct 8th.

City of Ghosts is an exhibition that represents the culmination of a year-long residency at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in the Fabrication Lab.  Billy Friebele and Mike Iacovone, founders of Freespace Collective, have collaborated on a series of artworks that use technologies available across the street in the digital Fab Lab to explore the areas surrounding the library and Flashpoint Gallery.

The artists of Danielle O'Steen's exhibition, Choice Encounters, work beyond the traditional gallery boundaries, facilitating community collaboration to explore local and national landscapes, calling attention to the artist as medium, guide and instigator. Participating artists: Krista Caballero, collaborative work by Michael Dax Iacovone & Billy Friebele.

An independent curator and critic, O'Steen has curated exhibitions at the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center, Flashpoint Gallery, and Gallery 102 at George Washington University. She has contributed to publications such as Art + Auction, Art Papers, and The Washington Post.
